Mr. Colin Dzur
Colin Dzur is entering his 8th year in education and this is his second year at Marion High School. He earned his B.A. in Middle Level Education from Coastal Carolina University, his M. Ed. in Instructional Technology from Coastal Carolina, and his second M. Ed. in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Anderson University. Mr. Dzur has served served as a teacher, grade level chair, coach, and administrator across different levels of education. He will be serving as the Freshman Academy Director at Marion High School. He is married to his wife, Sissy, and they have two children, Alex and Jojo

Hello! I am the 9th and 10th grade School Counselor at Marion High School. As a School Counselor, I help students emotionally, socially and academically. I have over 9 years of experience in Secondary education. I enjoy getting to know my students and helping them accomplish their goals in life. I am Sheneke Smith an exceptional educator at Marion High School. I attended the Sam Sharpe Teachers' College where I obtained certification in Special Education. I am a Jamaican and have been working with the Swamp Fox family since August 2022. It is my passion to provide support to students with diverse learning needs. As well as to share my culture with the school community.

Mr. Boateng
Hi, I am Mr. Wiseborn Agyei Boateng. I am currently in my 6th year of teaching and really excited about this school year. I am a proud Marion Swamp Fox! I'm a Ghanaian and obtained my bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Cape Coast and a one-year Post Graduate Diploma in Education from University of Education, Winneba. One of my favorite things to do is to help bring out the best in others, because I believe that everyone has the chance to make a difference.
Mr. Dzikunu
Hi! My name is Isaac Noble Dzikunu, from Ghana. I am a graduate of the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. I hold a Bachelor of Education (Major in Mathematics and Minor in Chemistry) degree. As a Math teacher, I always use my experience and knowledge gathered over the years to help my students understand Math the easiest way. I look forward to collaborating with every stakeholder to make my stay in Marion High a success.

Ms. Gordon
My name is Carla Gordon. I am from Marion, South Carolina. I am an alumnus of Marion High School, the graduating class of 2014. This will be my second full year teaching here at Marion High School. I started here back in March 2022, and this has been a great experience thus far. I graduated from Grand Canyon University this past January 2022, and worked briefly at Wilson High School before returning to my alma mater. I must say that it feels great to return home to see so many familiar faces and countless opportunities for growth. I am also currently in school pursuing my doctorate in Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment. If this is not exciting enough, I am also the Head Varsity Cheerleading Coach for Marion High School. Even with all my titles, teaching is inspiring, and it is one of my greatest passions. I look forward to this year and all the wonderful possibilities this year has to offer.
Ms. Capahe
Hello, I am Myra K. Capahe. I am an international teacher from the Pearl of the Orient Seas, Republic of the Philippines. I have been teaching for 15 years and I have been with Marion High School for two years now. I am teaching Freshman Focus and English I in the Freshman Academy department. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, majoring in English at Negros Oriental State University- Siaton. I have 12 units in my master’s degree in English (Central Philippines State University) and 36 units in my master's in special education (Universidad de Dagupan). I love to share my knowledge with my students as well as coach them in them proper etiquette, great expectations in life, and a positive way of looking at things. For my hobby, I love to dance, read books and novels, and make desserts. I live by this quote from David Frost that we do not aim for success if we want it; we have to do what we love and believe in, and it will come naturally after.

Ms. Ngoma
Salibonani, makadii mose, greetings everyone and welcome to my page. My name is Charlene Ngoma and I am an international teacher from Zimbabwe. This is my second year in America but my first year teaching in Marion. I recently graduated from Coastal Carolina University. I am currently teaching World Geography for our freshman class. I am so excited to teach and learn as well with the students and share my wonderful experience with my students in class. I enjoy the time spent in classrooms with the students and l look forward to a wonderful year and more to come.
During my spare time l like traveling, visiting other places and getting a feel of what America is. I look forward to meeting and getting to know you as the years go by!

Greetings! My name is Mrs. Selvi. I am happy to welcome all the students to the freshman academy this semester. I am excited to be a part of this wonderful team of staff and students in the Freshmen Academy.
This is my 12th year of teaching science. I am excited to continue my teaching journey at Marion High School. I have earned my bachelors and masters in Microbiology from University of Madras, India. I also have my bachelors of education in science from Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai, India. I believe that all students have the potential to learn and become successful in life.
Ms. Potluri
I am Guru Pyari Potluri, working as a science facilitator for the past 17 years in Hyderabad, India. I am a post graduate and done my Masters in Science and another Masters in Philosophy from Andhra University and Bachelor of Education in Biology from Osmania University, India. Teaching science is my passion and I always believe that teaching is the profession where we can mold the future of young minds.
In the second semester this year- I have the opportunity to teach and share my knowledge with Freshmen academy as a Physical Science teacher. I would like to build a bridge by balancing the communication with Parent- Student- Administrators to create a positive atmosphere in and outside the classroom.
I am an enthusiastic teacher eager to contribute to team success to hard work, attention to detail, believe in team building and team work and good organizational skills. I always believe in student centric learning by implementing active based learning and will take the opportunities to involve each student to participate in classroom during the instructional periods which motivate student to be confident and learn the concepts with ease. I am tech savvy person and always ready to guide my students to learn the concepts using the appropriate technology which can create interest to apply their knowledge by relating the concepts with real life examples.
